We are looking for a Control Systems Specialist to support HVAC controls in commercial and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing Building Automation Systems (BAS) to ensure efficient HVAC operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and program HVAC control systems (BAS/BMS).
- Troubleshoot and maintain control systems, sensors, and network communication.
- Integrate HVAC controls with BACnet, Modbus, and other protocols.
- Work with engineers, contractors, and facility teams to optimize system performance.
- Perform system testing, calibration, and commissioning.
- Document system configurations and provide user training.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience with HVAC controls and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Trane, or similar BAS platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of HVAC systems, air handling units, VAV systems, and chillers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in energy management and system optimization.
- Certifications in BAS/BMS or HVAC controls.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for control systems.
