This position is based at the company's Atlanta, GA (Buckhead) headquarters. You will: * Provide excellent customer service to the Company's entire employee base. * Oversee and maintain optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules. * Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users. * Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions. * Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users. * Program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports. * Compile or assist with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff. * Administer candidate pre-employment assessments. * Communicate effectively through phone, email, and correspondence, while maintaining a professional manner. * Carefully handle sensitive and confidential information/situations and documentation. * Recommend possible actions to improve existing processes. * Complete I-9 documentation and process using E-Verify system. * Conduct regular file audits to ensure Federal I-9 Form compliance. * Respond to written requests for Verification of Employment (VOE's) * Assist newly hired employees with preemployment activities such as background check and drug screens. * Support HR team with ad hoc projects, audits, performance reviews, benefit open enrollment, etc. * Other duties as assigned by management. You have: * Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field Human Resources Specialist (continued) * Minimum 3 years' related experience, preferably within a Human Resources department. * Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom, PeopleSoft, etc.) * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong ability in using MS Office * Positive and personable demeanor. * Ability to handle data with confidentiality. * Willingness to take initiative and work independently when needed. * Motivation to seek out answers, generate ideas and improve processes. * Must be a "team player", able to work well and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and peers. * Ability to develop an understanding of Company functions, policies, and procedures, as prescribed by management.
