This role is reporting to the Executive Vice President, you will lead the HR function in Taiwan, driving strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, standardize HR processes, and align people strategies with the company's rapid growth in the renewable energy sector.
This role requires a seasoned HR leader with a strategic mindset and the ability to foster a high-performing, compliant, and engaged workforce. Experience in supporting a private company's transition to an IPO is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership & Business Alignment
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring HR functions actively contribute to the company's long-term success.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, participating in management discussions and shaping HR initiatives that drive organizational growth.
- Lead cultural transformation efforts and manage internal communications to promote alignment across business units.
- Collaborate with leadership to evaluate, coach, and enhance employee development, identifying organizational development needs and recommending solutions.
HR Process Optimization & Standardization
- Establish and refine standardized HR processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and the employee experience.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of compensation and benefits structures to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Provide insights on HR best practices, leveraging data and industry benchmarks to drive continuous improvement.
Performance Management & KPI Development
- Define and monitor HR performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the impact of HR initiatives on business success.
- Develop and implement a structured performance management system to drive employee engagement, productivity, and professional development.
Talent Development & Succession Planning
- Identify and nurture high-potential employees, fostering leadership development and ensuring continuity in key positions.
- Establish a robust succession planning framework to strengthen the talent pipeline and sustain long-term organizational growth.
- Spearhead initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, including change management, team building, and leadership training.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 8-12 years of HR leadership experience with a strong background in HR operations, compensation & benefits, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and employees at all levels.
- Proactive and solution-driven, capable of anticipating challenges and implementing effective HR solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute HR frameworks, policies, and performance management systems that support business growth.
- Deep understanding of labor laws and employment regulations to ensure full compliance.
- Experience in managing HR functions through an IPO process and prior experience in the energy/renewable sector is a plus.
