Job Description:
We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civil and marine construction to oversee and manage various aspects of our marine projects. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within scope, and on budget. You will be directly involved with project planning, coordination, and execution, while working closely with the project team, stakeholders, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage marine construction projects from start to finish.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to maintain timelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure work meets standards.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction phase.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final closeout reports.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of project management experience in heavy civil or marine construction.
- Proven experience managing complex marine construction projects.
- Strong understanding of marine construction processes, methods, and safety regulations.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work on-site in Panama City, FL.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Occasional travel to project locations as needed.
