Job Description:
The Superintendent will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of heavy civil and water/wastewater construction projects. This role includes supervising the installation of water and sewer systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to all safety and quality standards. The Superintendent will collaborate with the team to ensure tasks are carried out in compliance with contract specifications and project timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of contracted work, ensuring completion on schedule and within budget.
- Plan and organize project work to ensure tasks are in place according to contract documents.
- Maintain a working knowledge of contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Schedule and monitor field productivity to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Promote a safety-focused work environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management.
- 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience working on water/wastewater projects (preferred).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage field operations effectively.
