Our client is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to join their dynamic team in Riverside County, California. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee and manage large-scale heavy civil construction projects within the government sector.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
Review project plans and specifications, and ensure all construction activities are in accordance with project requirements and government regulations
Coordinate and direct subcontractors and construction workers
Manage the procurement of materials and equipment
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Monitor project progress and prepare reports for stakeholders
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Superintendent
Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, materials, and regulations
Significant experience with government projects
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing government construction projects
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
OSHA certification is a plus
