Position: Heavy Civil Project Manager

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 + Bonus(s)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven track record in managing heavy civil construction projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Thorough understanding of construction codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Ability to effectively manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience working on heavy civil construction projects
- Previous experience with GDOT or civil sitework projects in the Atlanta area is highly preferred
- Successful delivery of large-scale projects on time and within budget
- Experience with project planning, scheduling, and cost control
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex project challenges
- Familiarity with environmental compliance and safety protocols
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Lead project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and field staff, to ensure project objectives are met
- Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a timely manner
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders
