A leading digital infrastructure company in the Asia-Pacific region is seeking a skilled GIS Manager. This role involves designing, managing, and maintaining fibre network systems across subsea, terrestrial, and internal fibre cable assets.
Location: Singapore, Australia, or New Zealand
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy a centralized geospatial network database.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure secure data access.
- Design terrestrial fibre-optic networks across subsea, terrestrial and internal fibre cable assets
- Record and process network changes.
- Issue fibre splicing instructions.
- Support subsea cable system design and construction.
- Maintain accurate records of geospatial assets.
- Provide reports to support various teams.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in designing and managing geospatial records within Telecommunications.
- Tertiary qualifications in Informations Systems or Geographic Information System (GIS)
- Experience in spatial analysis and report creation.
- Ability to work autonomously and remotely.
- Experience with GIS system management for data center connectivity is a plus.
