We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in the Greater Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with exposure to DOT, tunnels, and railway projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting site investigations, soil and rock sampling, and geotechnical analysis.
- Support the design and construction of foundations, retaining walls, tunnels, and other geotechnical structures.
- Prepare geotechnical reports and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, structural engineers, and project managers.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT standards.
- Provide technical support during construction phases.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, offering technical insights and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Exposure to DOT, tunnels, and railway projects is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
