LVI is working with a national leading consultancy firm that services water infrastructure, drainage, transportation, and development for public agencies across the US. This firm is known for having a great reputation for working together to help the community's goals and the ability to support their employees.
This firm is looking to continue expanding into Atlanta and is looking for an experienced engineer who can lead the office. This Water Practice Leader's responsibilities will be building and leading the office and growing and developing relationships with key clients to grow market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to develop, maintain, and implement business development, and operational plans for the water practice.
- Build relationships with new clients throughout the Southeast and Georgia area and the work needed to earn their business and to be able to maintain them as a client.
- Be able to support community and business organizational involvement within the market.
- Attend/organize staff to attend industry events and government meetings.
- Maintaining the water practice staff - responsible for feasibility, design, and construction administration of water wastewater projects.
- Prioritize project assignments and staffing.
- Responsible for hiring, mentoring, training, and directing staff.
- Assist the team with resolving complex projects.
- Set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure objectives are met.
Requirements:
- BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant degree
- PE License in GA
- Minimum 15 years of experience in water infrastructure.
- Has business development and client relationships in Georgia or Southeast.
- Experience in managing an office or division.
- Experience in complex water/wastewater facilities or pipeline projects
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills - required to build relationships with clients and team members.
