**Fully Remote Municipal P.E. Position in Michigan**
This firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager, who is proficient in the study, reporting, design, and construction of critical water infrastructure systems.
This full-time position offers the flexibility of being fully remote while contributing to meaningful civil engineering initiatives within various communities across Michigan. You will have the opportunity to apply your specialized knowledge toward enhancing public resources such as water distribution networks and sewage collection facilities.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive studies for new projects.
* Generating detailed reports that guide decision-making processes.
* Designing robust water distribution systems tailored for community needs.
* Overseeing sewerage system enhancements including collections and storage improvements.
* Managing project timelines from concept through completion ensuring quality standards are met every step of the way.
Requirements for this role:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related field.
* PE registration in Michigan and at least 7 years of experience civil engineering municipal design experience.
* Design experience, such as water main, sanitary sewer, roads, pathways and stormwater systems, are a requirement. MDOT experience is a plus.
* Experience or familiarity working with GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or hydraulic and hydrology design programs such as WaterCad, SewerCad, EPA-SWMM, HEC-HMS or HEC-RAS preferred.
* Must be able to lead project teams on selected projects.
* Projects may require working with a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, architects, and technicians and will range from preliminary engineering to final design/construction documents.
* Must be able to document and present work to team & clients in a clear and concise manner.
