LVI are reprensting a leading engineering firm specializing in forensic investigations and consulting services. They are known for providing high-quality solutions to complex problems and specialize in pedestrian walkway surfaces, pedestrain acident reconstruction and analysis. The use scientific measurements to develop evidence-based oponions for utlization in premises liability. Their safety consultant cover the following areas: Door closers, escalator and elevator trip, slip and fall hazards, inflatable ply houses, playgrounds, retail hazards, powered industrial trucks, charp edge/sharp point testing, train platform gaps and walkway surfaces.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyze slip, trip, and fall accidents to determine causes and contributing factors.
- Conduct site inspections and collect evidence such as photos, videos, measurements, and witness statements.
- Prepare detailed forensic reports and accident reconstruction analyses for legal use.
- Provide expert testimony in court or depositions related to slip, trip, and fall cases.
- Collaborate with attorneys, insurance adjusters, and other professionals to provide insight and support for case strategy.
- Keep current with industry trends, building codes, and regulations related to accident prevention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Forensic Engineering, Safety Science, Accident Reconstruction, or a related field.
- Proven experience in trip, slip, and fall accident investigations.
- Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental factors affecting slip/trip/fall risk.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide clear, concise, and unbiased expert testimony.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Familiarity with accident reconstruction software is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Certification in forensic engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience working with law firms or insurance companies.
- Previous court testimony as an expert witness (Is preferred)
