This well-established Fire Protection Engineering team focused on designing some of the most exciting projects in the region is looking for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join their team! Their projects include hospitals, institutional facilities, baseball stadiums, schools, and industrial buildings-ranging from multi-million to billion-dollar developments. With an extensive backlog of work, they are experiencing significant growth and need an additional FPE to keep pace with their demands!
Position Summary:
This role, requires a dedicated and hands-on engineer who can hit the ground running. You'll be working on local projects, with minimal travel required, providing a great work-life balance. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the fire protection team to design and oversee fire protection systems for hospitals, industrial facilities, and large-scale developments.
- Engage in mentorship opportunities and learn directly from experienced team members.
- Conduct site visits to local project locations, ensuring compliance and adherence to design standards.
- Participate in ongoing projects without delay, contributing to our robust backlog and ensuring project timelines are met.
- Assist in developing and implementing innovative fire safety solutions for high-profile projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related discipline.
- Must be preparing for or eligible to take the FPE exam.
- Hands-on experience or an internship in fire protection engineering is preferred.
- Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work under guidance and independently.
- Must be comfortable working on-site; hybrid work flexibility may be offered after the initial period.
