Job Description: As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the finance team and managing all financial aspects of the company's solar projects. This includes overseeing project financing, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and ensuring the financial health and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Oversee project financing activities, including securing funding and managing financial risks.
- Drive M&A initiatives, from identifying opportunities to negotiating and closing deals.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and sustainability goals.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in project financing and M&A, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a finance team.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Bilingual in English and Japanese, with strong communication skills in both languages.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards in Japan.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
