Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of our cutting-edge water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical skillset and be experienced in working with various water treatment technologies. National travel is an essential part of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and commission water treatment systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on installed systems to ensure long-term reliability and efficiency.
Provide technical support and training to customers and end-users, addressing any operational concerns and ensuring proper system usage.
Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex technical issues and improve system designs.
Maintain detailed documentation of all service activities, including reports and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
Strong electrical skillset with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Experience with Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF), Membrane Bioreactor (MBR), Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR), and Reuse technologies is preferred.
Knowledge of other wastewater or pure water technologies will also be considered.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Willingness to travel nationally, often at short notice, to support our customers' needs.
