Job Overview:
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver repair and preventative maintenance for advanced process and laboratory analytical equipment. This role plays a crucial part in promoting customer satisfaction and expanding maintenance contracts across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide repair and preventative maintenance for equipment using ISO work instructions.
- Collaborate with the Service team and field sales staff to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Offer phone support for customer service while in the office or on the road.
- Promote contractual service agreements and support equipment upgrades.
- Calculate billing amounts within set frameworks and submit service reports to track billing, inventory, and instrument performance.
- Extensive travel is required within New South Wales.
Qualifications:
- Trade certification or 5+ years of experience in instrumentation or process control systems.
- Restricted or full electrical license preferred.
- Skilled in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Previous experience in a commercial service role with KPI performance monitoring preferred.
- Must have the legal right to work and reside in Australia.
