Job Summary:
The role involves maintaining existing accounts and expanding new business opportunities under the guidance of regional applications and sales personnel. Collaborate closely with the Technical Support and Laboratory teams located in San Marcos.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary field technical support contact, resolving issues, providing updates, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating with staff as needed.
- Troubleshoot and evaluate membrane data, oversee customer site cleanings and pilot studies to optimize performance, and assess the application and performance of Avista products.
- Develop sales opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Normalize and report customer site data.
- Network with industry peers, especially membrane manufacturers and Architect and Engineering (A&E) firms.
- Prepare and deliver regional training and technical presentations at conferences.
- Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and workshops.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.), or equivalent experience in the water treatment industry.
- 5+ years of water treatment operations or field technical service experience with a water treatment equipment/service supplier or membrane plant operations.
- Understanding of membrane fundamentals and membrane processes (UF/MF/NF/RO).
- Basic knowledge of water chemistry.
- Experience using field lab equipment for measuring SDI, turbidity, conductivity, and chlorine.
- Familiarity with Clean-in-place (CIP) procedures.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive relationships while achieving results.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience in water treatment design.
