Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for the environmental engineering division, driving growth, innovation, and excellence in service delivery.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
- Oversee major environmental engineering projects, ensuring they align with company objectives and are completed on time and within budget.
- Stay abreast of environmental regulations and ensure all engineering projects adhere to relevant standards and compliance requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Play a pivotal role in business development activities, identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to the acquisition of new projects.
- Drive the integration of innovative technologies and sustainable practices into environmental engineering solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental engineering, with a strong track record of leadership and project management.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of New Jersey.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and developing high-performing engineering teams.
- Business development experience, including a successful track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities. Has won $2M in projects within the past year, and can continue to bring in new clients.
