Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Wetland/Soil Scientist with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience to spearhead our new Environmental Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to shape the direction of our environmental services and contribute to meaningful projects that protect and enhance our natural resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Environmental Division, including strategic planning and project management.
- Conduct thorough wetland and soil assessments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide expert guidance on wetland delineations, soil evaluations, and environmental impact assessments.
- Mentor and manage junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting wetlands and soils.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in wetland and soil science, with a strong background in environmental consulting.
- A degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, Ecology, or a related field.
- Licenses or certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Wetland Scientist) are preferred but not required.
