Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in designing, planning, and managing water and wastewater projects that significantly impact the Chicago metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment plants.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
- Prepare detailed project reports, proposals, and documentation.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to analyze data and develop efficient solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
