Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical projects within our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and the water industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales team with electrical estimating (control systems, MCC's and field installation) and review of client tender specifications
- Develop and distribute electrical and control systems knowledge within the group.
- Foster and manage relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
- Develop standardised designs, technical documents, and tools for projects and technical teams.
- Provide commissioning assistance for specialised equipment including preparation of commissioning plans.
- Evaluate the performance of plants and provide feedback to projects and sales on areas for improvement and reduced process risk
- Manage electrical systems growth and resource / contractor requirements as business needs require.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical project engineering, preferably in the water industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software and tools.
- Knowledge in HV and LV systems and demonstratable experience to AS300, AS3439, AS61439, ISA design standards is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
