Position Overview: My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design for MEP projects, with experience in commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical design drawings, plans, and specifications for MEP projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Perform load calculations, lighting design, power distribution, and equipment selection.
- Conduct site visits and assessments as needed.
- Review and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to contribute innovative solutions to projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical design for MEP projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
