We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with an RCDD certification and 4-7 years of professional experience to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing low-voltage systems and electrical infrastructure for diverse projects, including Federal, Healthcare, Education, and Commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems (structured cabling, security, AV, and telecommunications).
- Develop detailed construction documents, including one-line diagrams, layout drawings, and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors, to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
- Apply knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and provide technical guidance.
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short circuit studies as needed.
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required.
- 4-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on low-voltage systems.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for design and documentation.
- Solid understanding of electrical design principles, NEC codes, and low-voltage standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project teams.
- PE license (preferred but not required).
