POSITION SUMMARY
The Design Engineer II performs complex calculations, drawings and specifications related to electrical systems.
What you'll do:
- Performs more complex calculations, drawings and specifications related to electrical systems.
- Prepares preliminary redline design layouts for estimating.
- Manages a single phase of a project.
- Provides guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Review applicable codes and criteria and examine field conditions as required to support design of project.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Four-year degree in Engineering or related field
- 3-4 years of experience
- PE license
- In-depth knowledge of applicable systems design
- Ability to read electrical plans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.
