We have a current opportunity for a EIT Structural Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Bend. For further information about this position please apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural calculations to ensure safety and stability of designs.
- Overall drawing production; Including quality control
- Review and verify shop drawings for alignment with design specifications.
- Collaborate with contractors and design teams to ensure project success.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance.
- Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, with guidance from project management and senior leadership.
Skills/Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- E.I.T. certification required;
- At least 4 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Strong technical understanding of international building codes, relevant design standards, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, project managers, and senior leadership.
