Director of Land & Site Development Position

We are currently seeking a Director of Land & Site Development with extensive experience in project engineering and management for site civil and land development projects, as well as business development and client management. This role will be based in our Wilsonville, Portland, or Vancouver office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in all phases of project development and management, including overseeing engineering consultants and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client relationships and lead business development efforts in civil design within the Pacific Northwest.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing.
- Mentor and train team members.
- Develop and implement business plans for the group.
- Supervise staff and consultants on civil design projects.
- Continuously review and evaluate designs for compliance with standards and specifications.
- Oversee project close-out procedures, including coordination with contractors, purchasing, and financial analysts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience or 5 years of project management experience.
- At least 3 years of business development experience in the civil design market.
- Proven experience in managing projects and leading teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Registered Professional Engineer in Oregon.
