Company Summary: A leading developer, owner, and operator of Utility Scale Solar + Energy Storage projects is looking to grow their dynamic team with a Director of Performance Optimization & Analytics! They have over 3GW+ across 32 states. This position will be technical, with direct reports as well.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of performance engineers, analysts, and data scientists
- Evaluate performance and efficiency of solar + energy storage assets
- Develop and implement optimization incentives
- Oversee data modeling, predictive analyses, performance optimization, etc.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across team
- Serve as subject matter expert
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in performance optimization, analytics, and data science within solar
- Proficiency using Python, R, MATLAB, Tableau, Power BI
- Strong knowledge of solar + energy storage performance characteristics
- Familiarity with PVSyst
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- PE license (preferred)
