Key Responsibilities
- Sales Promotion: Enhance sales of water and wastewater treatment equipment by actively promoting the company's offerings. Support consumables sales through collaboration with consulting engineers, contractors, vendors, and end users.
- Project Bidding: Engage in the bidding process for water and wastewater treatment projects, including cost estimation and proposal creation.
- Client Expansion: Broaden the client base by attending industry conferences, delivering technical presentations, and conducting client meetings.
- Site Visits: Travel to project sites for pre-tender evaluations as required by specific projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the company's support network, including equipment representatives, engineers, technicians, vendors, and suppliers.
- Sales Targets: Meet annual sales goals in alignment with the company's business strategy.
Educational Background
- Educational Background: Technical Degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with all water treatment membrane geometries.
- Industry Experience: Experience in sales and/or engineering within the water and wastewater treatment sector.
- Sales Experience: At least 5 years of sales experience in the U.S. or Canada.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving and consultative capabilities.
