As the Director of Land Development, you will have full responsibility for overseeing and managing the Austin office, ensuring that both the team and projects are running smoothly. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, this position requires a strong focus on business development and expanding the company's reach in the local market. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the Central Texas Land Development team, including managing a variety of residential projects (both single-family and multifamily).
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.
- Foster and develop client relationships, supporting business development efforts and securing new opportunities in the region.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of professionals, cultivating a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations, as well as safety standards and company policies.
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company and play a key role in its continued success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on land development.
- Extensive background in residential land development, with proven success in managing single-family and multifamily projects.
- Strong Project Management experience, including managing teams, budgets, and timelines.
- Proven experience in business development and the ability to grow existing client relationships within the Austin area.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Texas.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSc) or a related field.
