Job Description:
As a Commissioning Director, you will oversee the commissioning of hyperscale data centers, ensuring all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, and maintained according to operational requirements. You will lead a team of highly skilled professionals and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the commissioning process for hyperscale data centers from inception to completion.
Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans and procedures.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure all systems meet quality and performance standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical guidance to resolve issues.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to commissioning team members.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in commissioning, preferably within data centers or critical facilities.
- Minimum 10 years working for general contractors, electrical subcontractors or mechanical subcontractors
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Professional certifications (e.g., LEED, PMP) are a plus.
