Job Description:
Owens Corning is seeking a dedicated and skilled Director, Commercial Transformation to lead best-in-class systems and process design, implementation, and governance across the enterprise for commercial-facing activities. This leader will embrace simple and standard solutions to deliver scale and efficiency throughout the enterprise. They will oversee everything involved in receiving, confirming, and successfully fulfilling customer orders, collaborating with external resources and key internal stakeholders to ensure Owens Corning is recognized as a best-in-class enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across businesses and corporate functions to define a "Best in Class" customer-facing agenda that drives transformational strategy.
- Develop a deep understanding of industries and markets, as well as key drivers and influences impacting business results.
- Lead best-in-class systems and process design, implementation, and governance across the enterprise for commercial-facing activities.
- Advocate and implement simple and standard ERP solutions to deliver scale and efficiency.
- Own the process transformation of the full customer life-cycle from receiving, confirming, and successfully fulfilling customer orders.
- Develop standard metrics, KPIs, and scorecards to measure progress at the enterprise level with a focus on simple, standard, and automated processes.
- Build the business case for enterprise system and technology investments in business process, technology, and project management.
- Act as an accountability partner to the businesses and functions to ensure true process transformation and efficiencies are realized.
- Develop training programs and capabilities to ensure understanding and necessary adoption by employees.
- Foster a culture of innovation, strategic evaluation, and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment across departments to streamline processes, improve decision-making, and accelerate execution of transformational initiatives.
- Partner with senior leaders across the enterprise to ensure synergy among transformation initiatives.
- Lead communication of strategic plans and progress to stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Empower individuals to successfully deliver a portfolio of high-impact enterprise initiatives.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field of study required; Masters-level degree preferred.
- 10+ years of cross-functional experience in commercial, finance, customer service, and logistics.
- Progressive leadership experience across a global matrixed environment.
- Project management experience that drives impact, strong results, and leads change.
- Demonstrated collaborative leadership style.
- Proven track record of identifying and overcoming challenges.
- Ability to leverage technology and systems to enable scale and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build connections with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
