This design engineer role will include developing 3D models utilizing REVIT and RISA software to convert ideas to models and plans.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize REVIT for designing and detailing structural systems for residential, institutional, and commercial buildings of diverse sizes and materials.
- Develop 3-D structural analysis models with RISA structural engineering software.
- Communicate with clients to understand and coordinate project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and prepare detailed field reports.
- Collaborate with design teams on single-family residential and commercial/institutional projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution (Master's degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in commercial and residential design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- Experience with timber/wood design is preferred but not required.
- EIT certification preferred.
