A global Data Center Developer is looking for a Sales & Marketing Director in Tokyo, Japan. This mandate will be task to lead all the business development activities in Japan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance brand presence, and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the data center industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including promotional events and product launches.
- Manage and monitor sales and marketing budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Provide expert advice on advertising campaigns, public relations activities, and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, train, and manage the sales and marketing team.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales and marketing performance to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of Data Center Sales experience in Japan
- Familiar with hyperscale data center services
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer requirements, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies.
- Fluency in English and Japanese is required.
