We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to support Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for data center projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, programming, and commissioning automation solutions to optimize critical facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement BMS and EPMS control strategies for data centers.
- Program and configure PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
- Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning of controls and automation systems.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC, electrical, and power systems.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation of control solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to on-site personnel.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in data centers or critical facilities.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar BMS/EPMS platforms.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and network communications (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with power distribution systems, HVAC controls, and critical infrastructure monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data center commissioning and operations.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
- Certifications in BMS, EPMS, or industrial automation are a plus.
