About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing control systems for automated machinery and processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and processes.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and team members.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in control technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.
- Strong understanding of control system design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with industrial automation and robotics is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
