Controls Engineer
Location: Taunton, Massachusetts

Job Overview
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for delivering projects to customers, with key responsibilities including:
- Designing, developing, and documenting systems that meet customer requirements.
- Identifying gaps in existing OT networks and computing systems, providing risk-based recommendations for improvement.
- Communicating with customers both on-site and remotely to present work and develop tailored solutions.
- Designing and implementing OT network and cybersecurity measures to protect OT devices.
- Collaborating with other engineers to share knowledge and refine project methodologies.
- Traveling to customer sites to implement and test project deliverables.
- Working with Project Managers and company leadership to assess project status, ensure customer satisfaction, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex control and cybersecurity concepts internally and externally.
- Understanding of process control or other manufacturing processes.
- Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and MES technologies.
- Proficiency in business application software (MS Office Suite).
- Professional and positive demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing project needs.
- Willingness to work off-hours when required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to undergo drug testing and/or background checks as required for employment and customer contract compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Certifications from industry technology partners.
- Manufacturing cybersecurity certification (e.g., GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, or equivalent) is a plus.
