Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Executive to provide strategic guidance and leadership for a top-tier Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firm specializing in solar energy. This role will initially be advisory, focusing on optimizing construction operations, project execution, and best practices. There is potential for this position to transition into a full-time leadership role based on company needs and mutual alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level strategic oversight on solar EPC construction projects, ensuring efficient execution from design to commissioning.
- Advise on best practices for project management, contractor coordination, and cost control within an EPC framework.
- Assess and refine construction workflows, safety protocols, and quality assurance to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support due diligence for new projects, evaluating feasibility, permitting, and EPC contract structures.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize project delivery and mitigate risks.
- Guide executive leadership on scalability, resource planning, and industry trends in solar EPC operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, permitting, and interconnection requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of leadership experience in EPC construction management within the renewable energy sector, particularly solar.
- Expertise in EPC project execution, contractor management, and supply chain optimization for utility-scale solar projects.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale construction budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong understanding of permitting, interconnection, and regulatory frameworks for solar energy projects.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements in an EPC setting.
- Advisory or consulting experience is a plus, with a strategic mindset and problem-solving approach.
