Responsibilities
- Review project plans and documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project scope.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to understand requirements.
- Use estimating software to compile accurate and competitive bids.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, proposals, and bid documents.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and provide customers with quotes and explanations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of estimation experience on new commercial roofing projects.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree (preferred but not required).
- Proficient in estimating software (Edge) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
