We're currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead and oversee projects involving ductile iron piping and other related infrastructure work.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of civil and water projects, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
- Piping Expertise: Supervise installation of ductile iron piping systems, including water mains, sewer lines, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project schedules and goals.
- Problem-Solving: Address challenges in real time, providing solutions that align with project specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to achieve seamless project execution.
- Documentation: Maintain daily reports, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a superintendent on civil construction or water utility projects.
- Strong expertise in ductile iron piping installation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
