A leading national design firm is looking to add a Principal Civil Engineer to their NH office! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with final roadway/corridor design experience and a desire to be a part of a collaborative design team working on all sorts of impactful transportation projects across New England.
The Principal Civil Engineer will be responsible for:
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary multimodal transportation team in projects ranging from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes in highly urban environments to signature trail projects in rural areas
- Using design softwares to fulfill production work and/or supervise design work
- Manage projects and guide team from design to completion and review
- Assist other group managers and engineering director by independently managing and leading projects
The Principal Civil Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 10-15+ years related civil/transportation experience
- A broad knowledge base in civil engineering, with specific experience in roadway design, drainage design, geometric design, 3D modeling and design of accessible public spaces
- PE preferred or ability to obtain a PE license in MA or NH
