Job Title: Civil/Municipal Engineer Manager
Location: Multiple Offices Across Iowa
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil/Municipal Engineer Manager to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to lead and manage projects across multiple offices in Iowa, providing essential services to various municipalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and oversee civil engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary contact for municipal clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Design and Planning: Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design and planning of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water/wastewater systems, stormwater management, and public works.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
- Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to the growth of the firm's municipal engineering services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Iowa.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil/municipal engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
