Civil Site Team Leader:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, site development, and utility projects.
- Conduct engineering research, perform calculations, and review design plans and technical drawings to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes, reporting progress and addressing challenges to ensure successful project completion.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating field teams, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in business development efforts, including preparing project proposals, cost estimates, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, office staff, and field teams to achieve project goals and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineering staff, establishing and maintaining best practices, procedures, and quality control standards.
- Oversee multiple civil engineering projects, monitoring workload, staffing, and budgeting to optimize efficiency and resource allocation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a Civil Engineering Project Manager or a similar role.
- Experience in site development or municipal infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, construction methods, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
