Civil Project Manager - Land Development
Location: Westminster, CO
A well-established engineering firm is seeking a Civil Project Manager to join its growing team in Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from start to finish, collaborate closely with clients, and provide leadership to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of project execution, including technical, financial, client coordination, approvals, and permitting.
- Develop proposals, project schedules, and fee structures.
- Set and manage budgets and timelines for assigned work.
- Direct and support team members to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to internal standards.
- Secure necessary permits and entitlements, including rezoning, site plan approvals, and construction documentation.
- Provide mentorship to junior staff, including civil designers and CAD technicians.
- Manage invoicing for assigned projects and approve sub-consultant invoices.
- Support business development by attending industry meetings, workshops, and networking events.
- Oversee multiple projects while maintaining budgets and schedules.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering License in Colorado
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering and land development.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong design experience in areas such as site planning, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion control.
- Knowledge of entitlement processes and local permitting regulations.
