Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial functions of the company, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of hydrogen-based production operations. Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support growth and market expansion.
Strategic Planning: Work closely with the executive team to define and implement strategic goals, manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning to ensure continued growth and operational efficiency.
Capital Raising & Investor Relations: Lead the company's efforts to secure capital for growth and expansion, particularly in the development of clean energy projects. Manage investor relations and ensure transparent communication on financial performance and strategy.
Financial Operations: Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, cash management, tax planning, and risk management. Ensure compliance with industry standards and relevant regulations in the energy and technology sectors.
Mergers & Acquisitions: Drive financial due diligence and play a key role in evaluating and executing strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions that further the company's market position.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the growing finance team, building a culture of collaboration and accountability. Ensure team members are aligned with the company's goals and help develop their professional skills.
Risk Management: Proactively identify financial risks associated with hydrogen projects, energy market dynamics, and regulatory changes. Implement strategies to mitigate these risks while optimizing financial performance.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally with a background in the energy, renewable energy, or clean technology sectors.
- Proven experience in financial leadership for project-driven businesses in energy infrastructure or sustainable technologies.
- Strong expertise in capital raising, investor relations, and managing financial relationships, particularly in the clean energy space.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and managing complex transactions in energy or technology sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment surrounding clean energy projects, particularly hydrogen and eFuel production.
- Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with investors, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
