Join a leading engineering consulting firm as a CE&I Senior Project Manager specializing in transportation CE&I projects. This critical role is your chance to oversee impactful construction engineering and inspection (CE&I) projects for the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) and the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC). Key Responsibilities:
- Lead CE&I project teams, including inspectors, field staff, and document control specialists, providing technical expertise in all facets of construction management for surface transportation projects.
- Oversee documentation for federal-aid transportation projects and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and performance.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, teams, and supervisors, and participate in constructability and budget reviews during design phases.
- Supervise, mentor, and coach support staff to foster professional growth while supporting the Area Manager and Construction Manager in market sector and staff development.
- Drive business development activities by tracking opportunities, leading proposal development, and cultivating partnerships with public agencies and other engineers.
- Develop strategies for winning projects, including creating teaming plans, assisting with go/no-go decisions, and building relationships across Idaho's CE&I market.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Idaho Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- At least 15 years of progressive transportation engineering experience with a focus on CE&I.
- Experience managing ITD and/or LHTAC CE&I projects.
- Proven ability to manage project schedules, deliverables, and collaborate in team environments.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- IQP and WAQTC certifications (preferred but not required).
