Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Cable Operations Lead to join our team for a major offshore wind project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all cable operations, ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of subsea cables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cable installation and maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement cable operation plans and procedures.
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure timely and efficient cable operations.
- Monitor and report on the progress of cable operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cable operations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of cable operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cable operations, preferably in the offshore wind sector.
- Strong knowledge of subsea cable installation and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a leader of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale offshore wind projects.
- Professional engineering certification.
