A Leading Solar EPC and 3rd Party O&M Provider in the Midwest is currently looking to expand their field team by bringing on an Electrician to help with their upcoming Commercial Solar Projects in the Wisconsin Region. This organization has been around since 2003, and has grown quite drastically in the last 2 years specifically. They are looking for folks that can come in and grow from within the organization and if needed, they will assist their employees with obtaining a Journeyman's Electricians license and even a Masters Electricians license. Although, having these licenses to begin with is highly preferred, but not a requirement, but you should have familiarity with the Electricians trade with direct experience in this field.
Position Overview
The Electrician collaborates with the Site Leader/Supervisor to deliver consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely project analysis. This position demands excellent attendance, a willingness to travel, and the ability to work in adverse weather conditions. Growth and advancement opportunities are available for those interested.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to construction schedule deadlines in line with customer requirements
- Oversee daily operations for a small electrical crew
- Perform terminations and electrical testing
- Identify strategies for process improvement to enhance business efficiency and growth
- Train and mentor electrical apprentices

Required Knowledge and Skills
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
Experience and/or Training:
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent problem-solving abilities, required
- Highly motivated with the ability to work both as part of a team and independently, required
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, required
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision, required
- Willingness to travel to job sites in Illinois and Wisconsin, required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, required
- Bilingual in English/Spanish, preferred
Licenses/Certificates:
- Valid Driver's license with a good driving record and proof of insurance, required
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician, required
- OSHA 30 Certified, required
Technology/Equipment:
- Experience with heavy equipment operation, preferred
- Experience as an electrical Foreman on a PV Install over 3 MW, preferred
- QC/QA work on a PV Install over 3 MW, preferred
- Proficient in interpreting engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD or Bluebeam), preferred
- Knowledge of fall protection, preferred
