Our client is seeking a Business Valuation Managing Director, to be responsible for overseeing and managing business valuation services. You will play a critical role in generating revenue by developing and maintaining client relationships, leading valuation engagements, and providing strategic insights to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage business valuation engagements from start to finish, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for additional services and revenue generation.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients based on comprehensive business valuations.
- Conduct purchase price allocations, gift and estate valuations, and litigation support.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure our services remain competitive and relevant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, ASA, CPA) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business valuation.
- Proven track record of generating revenue and developing client relationships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and industry standards.
