Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Valuation Director to join the team and help drive the next phase of growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation: Actively lead and grow the business valuation practice, generating new revenue streams through strong client relationships and effective business development strategies.
- Estate Gift & Tax Valuations: Lead and manage the preparation of estate, gift, and tax valuations for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and family offices.
- Business Valuations: Conduct and oversee comprehensive business valuations for mergers, acquisitions, strategic planning, and financial reporting purposes.
- Financial Reporting: Provide expert insights and valuation reports for financial reporting purposes, working closely with clients and other professionals to meet regulatory standards.
- Litigation Support: Provide expert valuation services in support of legal disputes, including litigation and dispute resolution, delivering clear, well-supported opinions.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate long-term relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying new opportunities in the marketplace.
- Business Development: Actively participate in networking, marketing, and thought leadership initiatives to elevate the firm's presence and reputation in the business valuation space.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business valuation, estate gift and tax valuations, financial reporting, and litigation support.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and manage client relationships while driving business growth.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA, CFA, ASA, or other relevant professional certifications are highly preferred).
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and industry standards for various valuation types.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex valuation concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Leadership Ability: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
