Our Client has an exciting opening for a Business Practice Lead - Land Development role with a focus on growing the existing practice to provide general engineering, and planning and engineering development review services to counties and cities throughout Colorado.
This means you will be responsible for:
- Developing, maintaining, and implementing a business development plan that identifies new county and municipal clients throughout Colorado and the work needed to earn their business and maintain them as clients.
- Managing the development review staff responsible for providing engineering and planning reviews for residential and commercial development within counties and cities.
- Preparing engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of capital improvement projects.
- Attending meetings with planning and zoning committees, commissioner's court, and city councils, affected property owners and developers, and meetings with county and municipal staff.

Requirements:
- PE licensed in Colorado
- BSc in Civil Engineering
- 10+ Years Civil Engineering
- Experience in county and municipal engineering, and land development review
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to build relationships with clients and team members
